A few months ago, actually on the last day of the SDCWC, Bell’s lizard died. It was traumatic to say the least. I called home to find Bell in tears and Papa presiding over a funeral in the garden out back. Like I said …. Traumatic.
Well, this summer my family had several barn cats down on the family farm had kittens. Guess who adopted one? Yep, Bell did. With, might I add, the agreement that the kitten stays on the farm and she can visit it. ( I think I’ve mentioned before, but I’ll tell you again that my dh (Bell’s Papa) is allergic to cats.)
So here is Bell and her adopted kitty.
This is Peanut Butter Blossom. Let’s just hope with a name like Blossom this little kitty turns out to be a girl! I suppose we’ll know the next time Bell visits her kitty, which will be soon. I’ve promised the kiddos a trip to the farm before school starts.
I can just see the kids rushing into the barn yelling, “here kitty kitty…” I love seeing the delight on their faces as they encounter new furry friends.
