Friday With The Family

Last week, we headed out with Boy’s cubscout troop for some family fun at Snyder’s Farm.

We all had a blast getting lost in the corn maze.

Once we found our way, we hopped onto the wagon for a good ole hay ride around the pumpkin patches. Due to the rain, we were all sitting on blankets and still had damp bottoms when we got off! I’m so glad it was dark by the time the ride was finished.

It was fall festive day at school, so the kids all had their faces painted!

After all the fun, the scouts and families’ gathered around a campfire for roasting dogs and marshmallows and silly skits. You can’t boy, but he’s there. He was just being a slippery scout and ducking under the radar of my camera all evening.

After a long week, I’m looking forward to the weekend. The kids and I have been waiting to carve our fat pumpkin and just spend some time listening to everything they did at school all week. There doesn’t ever seem like enough time to catch up with my kids lives in the evenings now that I they’re all in school and we’re all away from home during the day. Things are in constant change, even the weather.

Even as I write this we are preparing for bad weather. Thanks to a late hurricane this season. It’s really going to blow through our area, but with snow or rain… I don’t know either way, if your on the east coast stay safe this week and warm.
