It’s really to take advantage the things that we have. This month with Sandy just passing through the east coast, friends who are struggling with different things in their lives, my children’s struggles to learn and adapt, and my own struggles, I thought it would be a good idea this month to start a gratitude journal.
I found this one at Motherhood on a Dime. It’s a free printable that you can put together if you’re not crafty. Or you can take a tablet and just starting writing in it everyday the things you are grateful for. It’s not an essay. It’s a list. More so, it’s a reminder of the thing good things and the gifts each day brings.
Gratitude isn’t something were given. It’s not something we’re born with. It’s something we learn and accept. Gratitude is an Attitude of how we look up on each day and the events that day brings.
While I’m working on my own journal, I encourage you to print out the one from above, or grab a notebook and start one of your own. I’d love to hear the things that you never thought you’d be grateful for in the past that you are today.
